ASAYAKE PROGRAM

A steady cycle between business and society.

The ASAYAKE Program works alongside organizations to reframe business in its social context, put direction (why and where) into words, and carry it into daily practice (how). By linking vision and language with systems and dialogue, it cultivates a steady cycle within the organization.

Asayake means the early light before sunrise.

Do any of these signs feel familiar?

  • The intent is shared, yet it doesn’t carry through to decisions on the ground.
  • Learning and insight emerge, yet they don’t readily turn into action.
  • A direction exists, yet the first step won’t quite take shape.

We can help you re-examine that sense of misalignment in light of its social context.

How the ASAYAKE Program works

Term: S Value

We call the distinctive value your business creates for society S Value, and we use it as the organizing principle for the work.

Step 1: Put leadership intent into words (S Value)

We articulate the intent you hold as leaders and, in light of megatrends, define your company’s distinctive S Value (its social significance). We work alongside you with thoughtful questions and careful synthesis. Where helpful, we offer coaching to deepen reflection and clarify the focus.

Step 2: Build alignment inside the company

We share the S Value and keep the dialogue going until it genuinely resonates. We design and facilitate internal conversations and, where helpful, act as a neutral go-between.

Step 3: Carry it into daily work

Using S Value as a touchstone for decisions, we align decision-making, ways of working, and priorities. We pilot small changes and carry the learning forward to the next step.

Step 4: Make people systems coherent

We reflect S Value in evaluation, compensation, and work rules. With labor law and future ways of working in view, we involve employees in the design where appropriate.

ASAYAKASAYAKE Social Check

Conducted in an interview format. This check reflects your organization’s current position through the lens of social value.
As a first step in building around S Value (the social value of your business), we use the checklist to take a fresh look at your organization and business operations.
